Nace como parte de una alianza entre la empresa chilena de televisión por cable VTR (filial de Liberty Media) y la compañía estadounidense Turner Broadcasting System, propiedad de Time Warner.
Fue lanzado al aire el 4 de diciembre de 2008 a las 21:30 Horas (UTC -3) con el programa Resumen ejecutivo. (Vealo en su PROSAT 780 PLATINUM : Canal 56)
